How To: Use Elmo Anywhere with a CRM

What is the CRM?

Customer Relationship Management software. It takes customer order data and will text the customer updates along the full lifecycle of the order. This improves the customers experience with the shop and sends them a google review link at the end to prompt them to your Google profile.

Setting up CRM:

Most of the setup is done by management or IBS Software. One important thing to know is the Bill To Customer on an order MUST have Auto Glass CRM or Flat Glass CRM checked.

Auto Glass CRM and Flat Glass CRM have different trigger flows that they hit in the software and it’s all dependent on what Bill To Customer is on the order. Another important thing to check when working with CRM leads is Order History in the Misc tab on Orders during the lifecycle of an Order. Most CRM triggers are recorded here as they are fired so you can double check leads have or haven’t been sent to the CRM.

Another thing is that the CRM integration is not a perfect flow of data and heavily relies on the Elmo Anywhere user to do things in the proper order for leads to properly flow into the CRM so make sure you follow this guide closely when working with CRM leads.
