How to: Create a new Customer Type
- Navigate to Settings -> Configuration -> Customer Types
- Click on the "Add Customer Type" button on the top of the Customer Types grid.
- Fill-in as much information as you have available.
- All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
- The "Insurance Customer" checkbox denotes that the customer type is insurance, which will activate certain functionality regarding EDI and deductible payments.
- Click "Update" to save the record.
