How to: Create a new Customer Type

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Configuration -> Customer Types
  2. Click on the "Add Customer Type" button on the top of the Customer Types grid.
  3. Fill-in as much information as you have available.
    1. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
    2. The "Insurance Customer" checkbox denotes that the customer type is insurance, which will activate certain functionality regarding EDI and deductible payments.
  4. Click "Update" to save the record.
